In the world of Norrath there are many dangers and many wonderful treasures. These things await only the brave. However, sometimes bravery and courage are not enough. There is always strength in numbers, and that is where the NCG gets its power. Many people from many lands bannered for common goals can achieve anything that they set out to do. |

New Site under construction As the old site is now broken due to it being tied into the phpbb2 forums I have replaced it with this html site at least for the time being. There is still alot of updating and pages that will need to be added to this site that was on the old one.As I have time I will get them updated. posted by Drack Apr 19, 2008 |
New Forum: Missing Account? I hit I think another ~750 spambot accounts registered on our forums for deletion. However, in the process I may have hit a NCG member's account with 0 posts, that had registered prior to the upgrade to phpbb3 and not logged in since. If I got your account, you need only reregister and request access again. posted by Fez Mar 20, 2008 |

posted by Fez Holy Crap! Another Update! This time, we are doing something a bit different and a few members have chimed in via forum posts for this update. I'll let their posts do the talking: Kotys: While searching through these forums for a little information I stumbled on this thread with the following post from Manosthe Prophet dated January 27, 2006: Quote: I stopped by the Stromm board today and found an interesting discussion that reminded me of this thread. Apparently there are a few people who believe the NCG still won't accomplish anything and that we're wasting our time. It's interesting how their perspective gets twisted at the "top". I think what they fail to realize is the combination of level 70, a buffet of single group stuff with Time level rewards, and a whole lot of smart, mature players is a recipe for amazing stuff. I believe 2006 will be a challenging year for NCG, but I have faith we'll telling the naysayers "told you so" very soon. After reading this I decided to take a look back and see how far we have come in the last year. At the end of 2005 OoG had beaten Rallos Zek placing us at Tier 5 on the Stromm Guild Tier Listing. In 2006 OoG worked their way through the rest of the Planes of Power and finally took down the top dog Quarm on 10/13/06. SNCR started 2006 with the first Ikkinz raid and by the end of the year had progressed to the final GoD boss Tunat`Muram Cuu Vauax. Meanwhile a new raiding association(MNR) sprang up in NCG. MNR focused on MPG trials and getting to Anguish which they accomplished and by the end of the year took down Ture and Zeneca recieved NCG's first 2.0. Also, in 2006 Amici Noctis joined NCG and led DoN progression raids providing NCG with their first Tier 12 kill(Yar'Lir) on 11/13/06. They have also gotten kills of two Tier 12 Relic dragons. So, by the end of 2006 NCG had gone from Tier 5 to killing nearly all the Tier 12 mobs. Can we now tell the naysayers "told you so"? I think so. Congrats on an awesome 2006 NCG, and looking forward to a similar experience in 2007. Lilbraen: And it must also be noted that each of these raid organization take on their targets but once a week. SNCR was able to get tipt flagged, beat ikki1/2/3/4, do ikki back flags, beat uqua, do uqua back flags, gear up, defeat inktu'ta, do ink back flags, defeat Txevu, and have spit in the face of the final mob of GoD. OOG met, what, 2x every other week? MNR is still fledgling in its age, but it pulled many of the muscle and brain from all of NCG and ... whoops... casuals in anguish. The best part? We didn't apply to higher guilds. Instead, we earned it ourselves. Manosthe: I told you so! |
