Happy 10th Anniversary EQ Wow it is hard to believe that EQ has been around for 10 years now. Though I didnt catch the opening I did end up starting my eq habit in the first year. My brother got me into it and though he long ago moved on to other games I ended up hooked. Its also hard to believe that the NCG is less than three months from being 5 years old. Though many have come and gone the spirit of mutual help and friendship has remained and I would say is more in effect than it has been in a long time. NCG raiding FC SNCR beat FC 1 a few weeks ago and is now raiding FC2 gratz guys After strugling with raiding for awhile new focus and unity has come to NCG raiding along with additional help in the form of 2 new guilds :) Welcome Army of Antonica and Black Dragon Legion to the NCG. With the new raiders and motivation things are looking up with the NCGs raid forces progressing into new and exciting content. MNR is now FNR. In an attempt to revive itself MNR has now moved to Fridays and is sofar doing better and looking in shape to do well. So all in all the NCG looks to be in better shape than it has been in a long time and I look forward to seeing us progress into new raids that we havent had a chance with before. BMK#2 Completed by SNCR Gratz to SNCR for beating BMK#2 last week on its first attempt :) Raiding is once again starting to pick back up in the NCG as new exciting targets are looked at and being planned. Raid numbers are starting to pick up also on SNCR and MNR allowing new and bigger targets to be hit. Also gratz to WEAK for making its first foray into Time and the great progress it was making... at least till the server decided crash. On a sad note though FL has decided to pull out of the NCG for its own reasons and is going to take its friday night raid its been hosting with it. This though will not cause many problems with MNR or SNCR due to lack of raider overlap on the raids. We do wish them well in whatever they decide to do as they go forth into Norrath. Over all things are really looking up for the NCG as if nothing else the troubles over the past few months has brought new focus and desire to alot of the members to reach the new heights that have been out of focus for some time. Times change people and guilds come and go but as long as the NCG keeps its focus on helping each other reach new levels and fun that they couldnt get for themselves the NCG will continue to be a great group to be with on the adventure that is EQ1. Long overdue Update It is getting into fall and NCG raiding is getting back into full swing and the raids picking back in numbers. Progress is being made in raiding new zones for the NCG. While SNS, SNCR and MNR are adding new kills to the kill list as they adventure into TSS and beyond, WEAK is about to break into Time with its force going through the complete flagging for fun and to show the new members what PoP was and give older members a chance to romp through thoes zones again. In a effort to knidle new spirit into the NCG new events are being worked on to add to the fun and excitement of being a member of the alliance. So be looking for some new things to be posted on the forums before too long. As might be guessed I am back playing actively and really looking forward to joining in on the next levels of raiding the NCG is reaching as I lvl my new main up. I am planning on keeping the site more up to date along with adding to its usefullness as I have time. If you have something you would like to add here feel free to post it on the forum and I will get it posted here as soon as possible ( its much easier to make regular updates if the update is already written up... hint hint... plus you are likely to see less spelling errors... sigh ) Drack/Nuis Oct 24, 2008 |
